From vibrant and eye-catching hues to captivating nail art and dazzling embellishments used in styles such as blush nails, neon accents, multi-colour, micro French and 3D nail art, wedding nails present a plethora of possibilities.

“It’s all about embracing boldness and making a statement,” shared Shantalle Clarke, a certified nail technician at Leiane Evans Limited.

Neon accent nails are all the rage this year, offering an edgy yet soft vibe that is sure to elevate your bridal look to new heights. Imagine blush nails with a subtle touch of accent colour, capturing your personal style or even utilising the theme colour for your wedding.

Of course, we can’t forget the classic French manicure, which remains a timeless choice among brides. With a touch of Jamaican flair, they can add subtle accents like delicate hibiscus flowers or vibrant tropical hues to personalise the design and make it uniquely yours. In keeping with the latest trends too, many brides request 3D features to elevate their sets.

Durability is key for brides. What’s the secret? “Prep is the key to lasting nails,” Clarke, who has more than six years of experience, told Flair. To ensure your nails are in prime condition for your appointment, she recommends regular nail care and maintenance leading up to the big day. “Keep your cuticles moisturised, protect your nails with nourishing oils and creams [and] hydrate yourself by drinking plenty of water to keep your nails strong and healthy.”
