Skin has always been Dr Dainia Baugh’s thing. So it comes as no surprise that she has now embarked on her own skincare brand called Everyday Skin. Why? Because you deserve to love the skin you are in.

The medical doctor, who has been a director at the Heart Institute of the Caribbean (HIC) and practised integrated medicine for many years, says she has always been fascinated with skin. While admitting that some of her glow can be accredited to genetics, she notes that much of it also concerns her uncomplicated everyday skincare regime.

Fascinated by skin, Dr Dainia Baugh has bottled her own skincare remedies.

A couple of years ago, she started thinking about what she was doing to maintain her skin and, in distilling it, decided to make it simple for others, creating and curating products known as Everyday Skin, the dermatologist-approved skincare brand focused on helping you love your skin. With products for all skin types and concerns, it takes a natural approach to happy, healthy skin.

“There is a huge level of freedom in loving the skin you are in. Image is everything, but so much of image we have allowed to become other people’s perception of us, and so If you don’t think you look good, you don’t even put yourself out there,” says Dr Baugh. “Everything about loving who you are and the skin that you are in really sets you up for wins. It sets you up to succeed. Once you settle into a certain amount of confidence and [own] what you present as, everything can fall into place.”

Everyday Skin products are all green, clean, cruelty and toxin-free.

Dr Baugh believes in a natural and holistic approach, “Feeding, protecting, moisturising and hydrating the skin and then allowing the skin to do what it does.

”Everyday Skin products are all green, clean, cruelty and toxin-free. “While products may have a scientific name, it is not a toxic ingredient. It is just a scientifically researched ingredient that creates a medical-grade product, and the goal is results. So we’ve taken a clean approach, but we’ve also taken a results-driven approach,” she says.

Of the opinion that too many steps “complicate things”, the products cleanse, treat and protect.

A standout product is the Plan CE which helps the skin to glow, decreases background pigment, reduces the appearance of large pores and gives a natural and youthful appearance. “Aging is a good thing, but we want to help you age well,” says Dr Baugh.
